On your marks – Streets Whittles supports the West Mersea Yacht Club

Our Mersea office has continued with its on-going sponsorship of one of the racing marks used by the West Mersea Yacht Club (WMYC) for the new season.

Before it was put in the water, ready for the first race of the year for keelboats on 22nd April 2023, partner Dan Insley had a chance to come up close to the OLM (W) Racing Mark and inspect the new paintwork.

This year, the repaint was a little more important, as it reflects for the first time the name of the newly combined firm of Streets Whittles.

Dan explains why Streets Whittles has maintained the sponsorship: “The Yacht Club is the heart of the community and it was important to all of us involved in servicing the needs of our clients on Mersea that we continued to support those organisations which mean so much to the people who live on the island.”

Streets Whittles is currently one of thirteen sponsors covering the Racing Marks, Committee Boat Mooring Buoy, and Sailing Instructions which are essential for the WMYC’s standing as a prominent racing venue.
