Exec Club Dinner - March 2020

We have pleasure in inviting you to the next Exec Club Dinner, to be held on Wednesday 4th March 2020 at the DoubleTree by Hilton Lincoln.

The three course dinner will be co-hosted by Streets Chartered Accountants and Langleys Solicitors, who have together established a new style of business club known as The Exec Club.

Our speakers for the evening are:

Will De Ath, Co-Founder of TapKit

Will is going talk about TapKit Limited's journey as an early stage tech company starting in Lincoln, from two Computer Science graduates with an idea to a viable and scalable business. Like most start-up stories of many tech companies, Will and his co-founder Chris’s experience has been less than glamorous as they make it through harsh learning curves, battles with cashflow, business pivots and banks of opportunity as they develop themselves, their company and their current investment opportunity to scale what they have built.

He will briefly discuss what is possible with the technologies they use within their unique software service, Tap Studio, and how it led them to build their new charity platform, Everfund, to help charities raise donations and collect and harness valuable data in the new digital fundraising age.

Sam Owen, Owner of Salted Orange Food Co & Unconventional Distillery

Sam has been working in the hospitality industry for over 16 years. He began his career at the Cross Keys in Stow, which led to doors being opened for him and opportunities he could never have dreamed of, working in some of the best kitchens in Lincolnshire, London and beyond. It gave him the base to grow something of his own!

In 2014, after leaving Leicester, Sam moved back to Lincolnshire to start Salted Orange Food Co, a bespoke catering company. In 2019 with a passion for flavours and expanding on his talents as a chef, Sam launched Unconventional Distillery, Lincolnshire’s largest rum distillery. With a full distillers’ licence, Unconventional is shaking up the market with exceptional rums. 2020 will see the launch of four new flavours and a new tasting room.

Sam will give a talk on his journey so far before giving a tasting session on his premium products.

This private club is aimed at Chief Executives and Managing and Senior Directors of Lincolnshire's most successful businesses and organisations – success being determined in terms of market leadership, innovation, turnover, profitability and management style. The club is not intended to be a networking event but rather to provide a forum for the 'meeting of minds' whereby key decision makers of the local economy are able to discuss business ideas openly with one another in convivial surroundings over dinner.

Attendance is by private invitation only and as such we would like to extend an invitation to you to join us as our guest. All non-paying guests are by invitation of the hosts. Please note the number of guests attending will be in the region of 50 to 60.

If you have attended a previous dinner then there will be a charge of £40 (including VAT) to include a three course meal with wine. We will either send an invoice or alternatively you can send a cheque made payable to ‘Streets Management Services’.

If this is your first dinner, then we extend the invitation to you to join us as our guest.

The format and timings for the evening are as follows:

6pm      Drinks Reception
6:45pm Dinner

The formal part of the evening normally concludes at about 9pm - 9:30pm. The dress code for the evening is business suit.

We do hope that you are able to join us and would be grateful if you could please indicate whether you will be doing so by Friday 28th February 2020, using the form below. Please also advise any special dietary requirements.

Please note any cancellations made after Friday 28th February will be charged in full.
