We are pleased to be once again supporting the Colchester Business Awards and for 2024 we have chosen to sponsor the “Best New Business” category.
This award category celebrates the best of Colchester's newest businesses. Nominations are now open and you are encouraged to put forward businesses that have brought a new dynamic to the city of Colchester, very much like last year’s winners Patch, the new vegetarian plant-led café which opened in September 2022, with an emphasis where possible on locally-grown, seasonal produce from small independent producers and from the owners’ very own patch!
Last year, Streets Whittles sponsored the “Business of the Year” category which was won by Danielle Styles, a boutique and fashion brand which was established in lockdown in 2020 by Danielle herself, (pictured receiving the award from Streets Whittles partner Rachel Skells.) Danielle opened her first store in Maldon, followed by her second in Colchester.
Nominations close on 1 February, so don’t leave it too late to ensure that your favourite Colchester businesses are recognised!
