People Operations Lead


As the People Operations Lead you will establish and lead the HR operations from the ground up – design, implement and manage scalable HR processes and systems that support Streets growth trajectory.  And create workflows, ensuring compliance and enhancing the employee experience. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement and manage scalable HR processes and systems that support Streets’ growth trajectory. Create workflows, ensuring compliance and enhancing the employee experience. 
  • Support building the HR infrastructure, systems and processes.
  • Create and implement HR operations roadmap which encompasses streamlined consistent automated HR processes, roll-out and embed across the business.
  • Implement HR operations processes for the full employee life cycle including starters, movers, and leavers, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Develop processes and guidelines to ensure compliance with both policy and legislation and identify areas for process improvement
  •  Oversee the effective management of HR processes and policies
  • Provide insights and data to inform decision making

What we need from you

Key Skills and Competencies:

  • Strong HR operational knowledge with some partnering experience
  • Strong organisational skills: ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Attention to detail: high accuracy in maintaining records and managing processes.
  • Interpersonal skills: adept at building relationships and handling sensitive information.
  • Tech-savviness: familiarity with HR systems (e.g., Hi-Bob, BambooHR, Workday, or similar platforms).
  • Problem-solving ability: capable of handling challenges with practical solutions.
  • Knowledge of employment law and HR best practices.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5 years of experience in HR operations or a similar role.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and HR management systems.
  • Strong understanding of HR compliance and employment law

Particulars

  • This is a hybrid role, full time 38.75 hours per week, with approximately three days spent at business locations and two days working remotely. Office-based meetings will be required as needed.
