Corporate Tax Senior/Assistant Manager

We are seeking an experienced and driven Corporate Tax Senior/Assistant Manager to join our dynamic tax team. This role is ideal for a professional with a solid background in corporate tax who is looking to take the next step in their career. As a key member of our team, you will play an integral role in managing client relationships, delivering high-quality compliance and advisory services, and mentoring junior team members.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing a portfolio of corporate tax clients, ensuring compliance with tax regulations and meeting all filing deadlines.
  • Preparing and reviewing corporate tax computations and returns for a variety of clients.
  • Providing technical support and guidance to junior team members, including reviewing their work.
  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships by acting as a point of contact for queries and providing proactive advice.
  • Identifying opportunities for tax planning and advisory services, and supporting the delivery of these projects.
  • Conducting research on complex tax matters and preparing reports and recommendations for clients.
  • Assisting with business development activities, including attending client meetings and contributing to proposals.
  • Staying up-to-date with changes in tax legislation and sharing insights with the wider team and clients.

What We Are Looking For:

  • A strong technical understanding of corporate tax, with proven experience in a similar role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
  • A proactive and problem-solving mindset, with the ability to identify opportunities and deliver solutions.
  • A commitment to mentoring and developing junior team members.
  • Professional qualification: ATT working towards CTA (if not already held), or ACA with relevant tax experience.
  • Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office applications.
