John joined Whitmarsh Sterland, now Streets Whitmarsh Sterland LLP, in 1975, he qualified as a Chartered Accountant in the same year and appointed as a partner of the firm in 1978. John deals with a full range of businesses from the smallest sole-traders to multi million pound turnover companies. John has a great deal of expertise with family owned companies and has successfully helped many of them pass the business down to the next generation. He has particular expertise in construction, leisure and high-tech companies where his knowledge as a general practitioner has been of considerable benefit to his clients.
