Streets
& Whitmarsh Sterland join forces
Whitmarsh Sterland,
which has over 50 years experience in providing high-quality advice
and services to clients across East Anglia, is to join forces with Streets
Chartered Accountants.
From 1st March
2008, Whitmarsh Sterland will be adopting the new name in Cambridge,
St Neots and Newmarket of Streets Whitmarsh Sterland LLP.
Whitmarsh Sterland’s principle clients are owner managed businesses,
larger commercial concerns, professionals and high net-worth individuals.
This, along with the similarities in service provision with Streets,
underpins the mutual desire to maintain a focus on the provision of
a client-centred delivery with personal contact and proactive advice.
The move will provide
clients with enhanced service provision with the increased breadth and
depth of the combined firm’s financial services operation, the
expansion of dedicated tax expertise and the formalisation of a corporate
finance team.
Streets’ other
offices in London, Peterborough, Lincoln, Grantham, Hull and Retford
and its colleagues from Streets Whitmarsh Sterland will have approaching
200 staff and 21 partners
The focus for the
future will be to build upon the strengths of the expanded firm and
to firmly establish Streets as the pre-eminent mid tier, independent
accountancy practice and deservedly a top 30 player in the UK.
