Rewriting the Laws on Planning

Julia Lock, Partner & Head of Commercial Property at Andrew & Co Solicitors

Julia will discuss the key changes in the commercial property landscape over the past 12 months and look at what is coming down the line.

Recent announcements from the government set out to penalise developers who do not build homes quick enough or those who profit from only building expensive properties and now they vow to "rewrite the laws on planning". In this presentation we will address these proposed changes and we will look at how those working in the commercial property sector can continue to maximise on future developments whilst supporting the vision of the government.
