Made in Lincolnshire seeks to celebrate the area’s excellence in manufacturing and its well earned reputation for innovation within the sector. It also aims to showcase the diversity and creativity of those manufacturing in Lincolnshire.
Manufacturing is a very important sector for Greater Lincolnshire based on its contribution to the UK economy. The sector delivers a direct economic value to the Greater Lincolnshire economy of £3.4billion per year and will play a significant part in the future economic growth of the region.
We are launching this year’s awards with a drink’s reception at the DoubleTree by Hilton Lincoln on Thursday 2nd February. This will include an introduction to the awards and the entry process and a presentation from Charlotte Horobin, Interim Director Midlands and East for EEF, the manufacturers organisation, who will talk about the role and importance of manufacturing across the region. There will also be a short presentation from one of last year’s winners Avalon Cabins, joint winners of ‘To Be Made in Lincolnshire’.
Entries will open on Thursday 2nd February 2017 and will close on Friday 14th April 2017.
